Meet the Digital Marketing Trainers – Part 2

Our Digital Marketing Course, in Stoke-on-Trent, is run by two Digital Marketing experts, who have experience at promoting businesses using E-mail Marketing, Bluetooth Marketing, SEO, Social Networking (inc. Facebook Marketing), Pay-Per-Click Advertising and more.

The second of these trainers is Quinton Watton-Smith.

Quinton Watton-Smith is a Mobile Marketing and Digital Marketing expert and trainer.

Over the past 10 years, Quinton has worked with many large businesses and organisations (including BMW , Mecca Bingo, McDonalds, Staffordshire County Council and local Police Forces), helping implement mobile marketing strategies; using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi , QR-Code, NFC and SMS.

He has spent the last few years helping numerous companies with their online marketing.

Quinton has successfully completed a number of Google Exams and holds a Google Certified accreditation.

Meet the Digital Marketing, Online Marketing and Internet Marketing Course Trainers

Our Digital Marketing Course, in Stoke, is run by two Digital Marketing experts, who have experience at promoting businesses using E-mail Marketing, Bluetooth Marketing, SEO, Social Networking (inc. Facebook Marketing), Pay-Per-Click Advertising and more.

The first of these trainers is Robert Brown.

Robert is a Digital Marketing expert and trainer.

Born and educated in Stoke-on-Trent, over the past 5 years Robert has worked with many of the top media/PR companies in Stoke-on-Trent, including The Sentinel, BBC Radio Stoke, The New Vic PR Office, Richard Swancott Associates and TextBlue Limited.

From promoting large organisations (including The Metropolitan Police and McDonalds), to local businesses, such as Bourne Sports in Stoke-on-Trent and Arch in Staffordshire, Robert has experience of helping companies get coverage in Stoke-on-Trent’s press, radio, online and using mobile marketing.

As a blogger, Robert’s work has been featured on the BBC Radio Stoke website.

Robert holds a B.A. in English and Media, Communication and Culture from Keele University.

Digital Marketing Training Course in Stoke

MediaHeads have designed an 8-part Digital Marketing Training Course to benefit businesses.

The course, held at Lymedale Business Centre, in Stoke-on-Trent, covers everything from Search Engine Optimisation to Social Network Optimisation, Search Engine Marketing and Mobile Marketing.

Part 1

An Introduction to Digital Marketing

You will be introduced to the history of Digital Marketing (from the rise of Bluetooth Marketing to the growing popularity of Social Networking).

Going through the differences between Digital Marketing and other forms of marketing, we will help you identify the advantages that come with it.

We will discuss how global corporations use Digital Marketing to increase sales and enquiries.

Part 2

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

One of the first steps, for any business looking to introduce a Digital Marketing strategy, is to focus on Search Engine Optimisation and SEO Backlinks; which are effective ways of getting your website featured highly on Google, Bing and Yahoo.

We will reveal the most effective ways of carrying out Search Engine Optimisation and will teach you how to add high quality SEO Backlinks.

Part 3

Facebook Marketing

Although Search Engine Optimisation will help bring people to your site, it is also important to use Social Network Optimisation; such as Facebook Marketing.

As well as introducing the different types of Facebook account that businesses use – Facebook user, Facebook Company Page, Facebook Places and Facebook Group – we will explain the best choice for your business and explore ways of enhancing your Facebook Page; by adding a mini website and branding it.

 

With regards to the practical element, you will be guided, step-by-step, through the process of creating a company Facebook Page and will be able to speak to our experts if you experience any difficulties.

Part 4

Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ Marketing

 

Following on from Facebook Marketing, we turn our attentions to the other leading social networking sites; i.e. Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. Not only will you learn the best ways of maintaining your Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ accounts, you find out how to brand your pages, interact with followers, build up a loyal following and schedule updates for future publication.

 

There will be a practical element, which allows you to create a Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ account, as well as showcasing your products to these online communities.

 

Part 5

Search Engine Marketing

Leading on from Google+; we will teach you how to get your business listed on Google Places, how to ask for recommendations (via. Google +1) and the best ways of managing Google advertising campaigns (i.e. Pay-per-Click Advertising).

As an Adwords Qualified Company, we will pass our knowledge of Pay-per-Click Advertising on to you. We will talk you through how to create eye-catching advertising campaigns, different ways of targeting your adverts and how to monitor success.

 

Part 6

Video and E-mail Marketing

Google truly are giants of the Internet, with the world’s most famous video sharing website – YouTube – now also owned by them.

We will take you through the steps to making your own three minute video and publishing it on YouTube; whether a home video style interview, voxpops from your clients or an animation with voice-over.

As well as creating videos, you will also learn how to design an effective html e-mail (complete with images, company branding and links to your Facebook/Twitter page) and monitor how many times it has been opened.

Part 7

Mobile Marketing

Following on from E-mail Marketing, we will introduce you to the basics of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, QR-Code and NFC Marketing.

As well teaching you how these work, we will guide you through creating an advertisement, choosing a location to place your Bluetooth/Wi-Fi devices, QR-Codes or NFC tags, monitoring statistics and remote management.

Part 8

Groupon, Foursquare and Course Summary


Groupon and Foursquare are effective tools for any business looking to offer an incentive to new or existing customers. We will discuss the different types of vouchers and coupons you can offer, as well as taking you through the process of getting your products/services on Groupon and Foursquare.

After introducing Groupon and Foursquare to you, we will finish the course by providing an overview of everything we have discussed and allowing you the chance to listen to how the other attendees have been using what they have learnt to build their own Digital Marketing strategies.

The MediaHeads’ 8-part Digital Marketing Training Course is available for just £2000, which includes 30 hours of support to help you implement the strategies.

There is currently funding available to businesses in the East and West Midlands. Subject to approval, you can get £1000 funding to spend on the 8-part course.

Individual sessions can be purchased for £350 each and will include 3 hours of support.
